Why HIG-E Dragons?

The mascot of the HIG-E Residential College is the dragon. When the HIG and Eliot residential areas became joined as one Residential College in 2004, the idea of a mascot came up as a way to unify the two areas. This is how the HIG-E Dragons were born. The HIG-E Crest was designed by Ashley Hairston, a former HIG-E RA. The official HIG-E mascot was designed by Erin Que, an RA in Eliot during the 2007-2008 school year.
