Progressive Dinner - Each Spring semester, College Council plans a progressive dinner for the students of HIG-E. A different course is eaten in each building, starting with appetizers in Hitzeman, salad in Hurd, the main dish in Myers, and ending with dessert in Thomas Eliot. This event has been a resident favorite for many years. HIG-E Week - HIG-E Week is a week long celebration for the residents that occurs once a year. This event is planned by the RA staff and College Council, and the events are different every year. In past years, HIG-E Week has included a trip to a Cardinals game, a talent showcase, a petting zoo, free t-shirts, and casino night. Alphabet Bowl - This is the annual flag football game on the Swamp between HIG-E and JKL Residential Colleges. This event usually takes place in the spring semester. Service - HIG-E Residential College has had a strong tradition of service since 2006. You can learn more about this under the "HIG-E Happenings" link. |
